Rosa Clará entered the bridal sector almost 20 years ago, opening the firm's first wedding gown shop in Barcelona. It offered innovative designs created from the highest quality fabrics to a growing market niche that didn't identify with the products on sale at the time.
This new take on bridalwear revolutionised the sector and its own and franchised Rosa Clará shops soon sprang up throughout the rest of Spain and then the rest of the world.
The company reinforced its position and influence on the sector when, among other initiatives, it partnered with haut couture designers of the stature of Christian Lacroix, Karl Lagerfeld and Zuhair Murad, signing exclusive contracts to make and sell their bridalwear collections worldwide.
This decision, along with Rosa Clará's powerful brand image — reinforced by its role in opening Barcelona Bridal Week, one of the world's most prestigious bridalwear shows — and growing celebrity demand for its wedding gowns, boosted the group's brands and market position worldwide and paved the way for sales on all five continents through its own shops, franchises and multi-brand outlets.
Further gowns are available in store and are priced between £1,350-£2,000
